The Power of 555
The Ripple Effect of Kindness
According to certain beliefs, the number 555 is known as an Angel number, and means that your guardian angel is letting you know they're looking out for you.
Life is hard for so many right now. Both in our local communities and around the world there is strife, anguish, hunger and darkness. We can’t solve all the world’s problems, but we can through acts of kindness – big or small – come together and make a real difference on our doorsteps and beyond. No act of kindness is too small. Whilst it may start as a small ripple; when like minds come together, it can soon become a tidal wave improving so many lives.
Celebrating Guru Nanak Dev Ji
A Symbol of Universal Kindness
And it just happens that on the 15th November 2024, the Sikh faith will celebrate the 555th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. For millions around the world the Guru is their guardian angel, and his teachings govern the way they live their life. A life where everyone is treated as equal, and help is always at hand for those less fortunate.
Up until the 555th anniversary mentioned above, we are going to create something really special. Whilst this is not about one specific faith group, the symmetry of the dates and the significance of 555, allows us all an opportunity to sign up to a simple initiative where we build up to the 15th of November, with pledges and actions to do good and provide support where it is needed most.
It would be so special if as many people, groups and organisations as possible across the country, and wider, could sign up to this campaign and help make a difference.
